Creator Safety
UpNext does not organize collaborations or offer creators to brands. It only lets creators privately record opportunities they found elsewhere. Use this guide before sharing information, signing, spending, or publishing.
What UpNext never does
UpNext does not introduce, pitch, rank, recommend, or send creators to brands. Brands cannot register, browse a creator directory, post campaigns, accept applications, or message creators through UpNext. UpNext does not verify companies, negotiate terms, handle campaign payments, or act as an agency or referral service.
Verify the sender and the brand
Confirm the sender through the brand’s official website or a separately found contact. Check the domain, legal business name, campaign details, and whether the person is authorized to negotiate. A polished deck and a familiar logo are not proof.
Protect accounts and personal data
Never send passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, or copies of unnecessary identity documents. UpNext will never ask for a social-media password. Connect accounts only through the platform’s official authorization page and grant the narrowest permissions needed.
Read the full deal
Put deliverables, deadlines, revisions, payment timing, cancellation, usage rights, paid-media rights, whitelisting, exclusivity, ownership, and disclosure requirements in writing. Clarify whether a brand may edit, repost, advertise, or keep using your likeness after the campaign.
Watch the money trail
Treat advance fees, gift-card payments, crypto requests, overpayment refunds, urgent transfers, and pressure to move off official channels as warning signs. UpNext does not collect campaign payments, hold funds, guarantee payment, or recover money.
Publish responsibly
Personally verify claims you repeat, disclose paid or gifted relationships as required, protect other people’s privacy, and follow platform rules and applicable advertising, intellectual-property, and consumer laws. If a claim feels too convenient, pause and verify it.
When something feels wrong
Stop the transaction, preserve emails and contracts, change exposed credentials, revoke suspicious app access, and contact the relevant platform, bank, brand, or authority through independently verified channels. Immediate danger or suspected crime should be reported to the proper local authority.
